Detox and Purification Program
DAY 11
Great job in making it through the first week and a half. Pay special attention to the food recommendations as there are a few changes starting today!
Tip: If you want to achieve more weight loss, feel free to continue with the food recommendations that you followed from days 1-10 instead of making any additions today.
Supplement Regimen: Day 11
2 Tbs. SP Complete Shakes: 1-3 shakes per day (2 Tbs. per shake)
5 SP Green Food Capsules: 2 times per day = 10 capsules per day
3 Gastro Fiber Capsules: 3 times per day = 9 capsules per day
1 Tbs. Whey Pro: 1-2 times per day in shakes/water (1 Tbs. per shake)
SUPPLEMENTS SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN WITH MEALS BUT THEY CAN BE TAKEN WITH A SHAKE. YOU MAY TAKE THEM 1 HOUR BEFORE A MEAL OR TWO HOURS AFTER A MEAL.
The Diet: Days 11-21
Unlimited fresh vegetables (try to eat as much organic as possible) - No corn, peas, or white potatoes
Collard greens Kale Broccoli Beets
Asparagus Artichokes Carrots Cauliflower
Cucumbers Spinach Mushrooms Celery Brussels sprouts Peppers Lettuce Onions
Salads with unlimited veggies (no premade salad dressings)
You can use 1 Tbs. Olive oil mixed with Lemon and spices
Fruits: 1 serving = 1 cup Eat 2 times as many veggies as fruit
Bananas; Apples; Oranges; Kiwi; Berries; Apricots; Grapes; Tomatoes; Melons; Avocado; Figs; Limes; Pineapple; Lemons; Pomegranate
Rice: Organic Brown or Wild Rice ONLY: One 1/2 cup cooked serving per day OR
Lentils: Two -- 1/2 cup cooked servings per day
Oils: 4-7 teaspoons per day: Coconut oil; Extra-virgin olive oil; Flaxseed oil; Grape seed oil; Fish oil; Butter
Spring water or herbal tea (decaffeinated): Drink at least 8 8oz. glasses (64 oz.) of spring water per day
Protein Sources: average serving size = 3 oz cooked;
2-4 servings per day, with 1-2 servings being fish
Fish should be wild, deep sea fish (salmon, cod, sea bass)
Chicken should be organic, free range, anti-biotic and hormone free, if possible
Prepare by broiling, baking, roasting, or poaching
No cured, smoked, or luncheon meats
Recipe of the Day:
Creamy Red Pepper Soup
1 red pepper
1 cup warm water
½ large avocado
5 baby carrots
1 tsp. onion, chopped
½ tsp. garlic, chopped
½ tsp. jalapeño pepper
½ tsp. Celtic Sea Salt®
Blend all ingredients in food processor for about 5-10 minutes until thick, & smooth. Heat soup in a saucepan until warm. Serve immediately.
Exercise:
Make sure you go walking at least 4 times per week for 30-45 minutes. Yoga is a great way to maintain your strength while detoxing your lungs at the same time. Strenuous exercise should be limited during the purification program.
Today’s Homework:
Learn to do NOTHING! Take 5 minutes out of your schedule today to do NOTHING! Sit and listen to a beautiful piece of music or indulge yourself in a luxurious bubble bath. Pay close attention to how you feel afterwards; are you more relaxed, or energized?
