Purification Program - Day 5

Detox and Purification Program

DAY 5

Welcome to day 5! This may be the time where some food cravings are still hanging onto you. Here are some tips to help with the cravings…


Add Gymnema Tablets (2 tablets twice per day)
Have a good fat like avocado
Make sure you are eating protein: the approved protein source for this week are lentils (up to 1 cup per day)


Supplement Regimen: Day 5


2 Tbs. SP Complete Shakes: 1-3 shakes per day (2 Tbs. per shake)
7 SP Cleanse Capsules: 3 times per day = 21 capsules per day
3 Gastro Fiber Capsules: 3 times per day = 9 capsules per day
1 Tbs. Whey Pro: 1-2 times per day in shakes/water (1 Tbs. per shake)
SUPPLEMENTS SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN WITH MEALS BUT THEY CAN BE TAKEN WITH A SHAKE. YOU MAY TAKE THEM 1 HOUR BEFORE A MEAL OR TWO HOURS AFTER A MEAL.


Recipe of the Day:
Creamy Peachy Goodness


½ ripe banana
1 cup frozen peaches
½ avocado
1 Tbs. high flaxseed oil
2 rounded Tbs. of SP Complete
1 rounded Tbs. of SP Whey Pro
1 cup cold water & ice


Directions for all shakes


Thoroughly blend all ingredients together, adding ice cubes or cold water until the shake reaches desired consistency. You may make a large enough batch to last you through the day, but make sure to keep it refrigerated, and remix it as needed before pouring.


Exercise:


Make sure you go walking at least 4 times per week for 30-45 minutes. Yoga is a great way to maintain your strength while detoxing your lungs at the same time. Strenuous exercise should be limited during the purification program.


Today’s Homework:


Learning to plan ahead. By planning ahead you can increase your success and avoid the frustration of feeling like "There's nothing for me to eat", particularly when you will be eating away from home. For excellent tips refer to the Purification Program Handbook, p.17. Spend a few moments here looking over the suggestions; you may be surprised at how helpful they are.
